Mission Statement

 The Parents and Teachers of the Apple Seed Christian Preschool feel called by God to strengthen the family by providing a quality Christian school to three through five-year-old children, which allows them opportunities to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially and spiritually.

Our goal is to share the gift of Jesus’ Word by providing quality Christian education and care to the children of our community.

Children Served

Apple Seed Christian Preschool admits children three years to five years of age. We do not discriminate in providing services to children and their families on the basis of race, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national origin, disability, marital status or sexual orientation.

Staff

Teachers are selected based on their educational background and experience in early childhood education. Teacher to child ratios are based on New York State Day Care Regulations.

Objectives

The school will work to provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences which will enable children:

  *To grow and develop to their greatest potential physically, mentally, socially, emotionally and spiritually

  *To grow in awareness that God made them and loves them.

  *To grow in understanding and love for themselves, their families and others in the world.

  *To grow in ability to think and solve problems.

  *To develop good communication skills, including listening skills, as well as the ability to express one’s thoughts and feelings appropriately.

  *To enjoy creative expression in music, art and play.
